 Oral and Poster Presentation Guidelines

1. Registration

First named authors of accepted abstracts may avail of oral and poster presenters rate.

 

2. Oral Presentations (Academic and Research in Practice)

Oral academic presentations will be strictly limited to 30 minutes and oral research in practice presentations will be strictly limited to 10 minutes. In order to ensure that everyone keeps to time, a chairperson within each session will act as a timekeeper. All speakers must be available for a panel discussion at the end of their session.

All speakers must upload their presentations in the Speaker’s Ready Area at least 2 hours before their oral presentations. Presenters cannot use their personal computers for their presentations. There will be a technician in the room to help you and we recommend using Microsoft to ensure compatibility.

 

3. Poster Presentations(including student posters)

All posters will be displayed on both Thursday 25th and Friday 26th May 2017. The poster size is 90 cm X 120 cm, portrait (vertical). Posters must be mounted before Thursday 25th morning coffee break and taken down after the lunch break on Friday 26th. Velcro will be made available to poster presenters.

 

4. Presentation Prizes

Oral and poster presentation prizes will be awarded at the awards ceremony on the afternoon of Friday 26th.
